BluePond.AI, a GenAI-native insurtech, has introduced its latest solution, P&C Reinsurance CoPilot, a tool designed to automate the ingestion of complex reinsurance documents and optimise workflow efficiency.
Reinsurance contracts are often lengthy and require significant manual effort to process and record in administration systems, which can slow operations and create errors.
BluePond.AI’s Reinsurance CoPilot uses generative AI to automate document ingestion, support faster triage, and update policy administration systems more efficiently.
By reducing manual data entry, BluePond.AI says the tool can shorten processing times, lower reliance on external vendors or specialised staff, and support downstream processes such as ledger management and credit control.
Looking ahead, BluePond.AI plans to expand Reinsurance CoPilot’s capabilities to include workflow management, BDX and invoice ingestion, and portfolio-level exposure management, offering insurers a more efficient and scalable approach to managing the full reinsurance lifecycle.
