INTX Insurance Software, a provider of a fully integrated solution for the entire property and casualty (P&C) insurance policy lifecycle, has launched its insurance policy administration platform in North America, following two decades of use in markets including the UK, Europe, the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Africa.
The platform is positioned as a single system covering the entire property and casualty (P&C) policy lifecycle, designed to replace the need for multiple separate tools.
Founded by insurance professionals familiar with operational inefficiencies in the industry, INTX was developed as an end-to-end system intended to address policy administration, claims handling, and compliance from one platform.
Its flexibility and scalability aim to support a range of insurance businesses, from carriers to MGAs and reinsurers.
One of INTX’s main selling points is its no-cost implementation model, which allows organisations to adopt the software without a large upfront investment.
The company also claims faster deployment than typical industry solutions. The platform includes real-time reporting, customisable dashboards, and a unified data structure that supports decision-making and regulatory requirements.
INTX CEO Robert Lewis said: “The limitations of most P&C policy management software are a continual source of frustration for customers because they were built as point solutions, not with the entire ecosystem in mind. Assembling ‘best of breed’ solutions is no better, requiring complex and costly integration, and greater resources to maintain, with limited cross silo integration.
“INTX was created by insurance professionals who saw the need for a single platform, end-to-end solution that addresses the needs of all market participants across the entire insurance policy lifecycle. We are excited to now bring our solution—built on Microsoft technology and proven with insurers around the globe—to North America.”
The company also announced its first North American customer: Xitus Insurance, a firm focused on legacy insurance solutions.
Xitus has been using the INTX platform since July 2024. Ben Dovey, CEO at Xitus, commented: “We have been incredibly impressed with the ease of use and robust capabilities provided by the INTX solution.
“We were up and running in just three months with a solution completely customised to our multi-national, multi-currency needs. INTX has transformed the way we manage our business through seamless data delivery, providing us with real-time insights into what we are doing today and what is possible tomorrow.”
Beyond core policy administration, INTX includes tools for quoting, binding, billing, claims handling, reinsurance, and broker engagement. These functions are bundled into a single environment with the goal of minimising the need for external systems.
As it enters the North American market, INTX presents its platform as an alternative to the piecemeal approaches many insurers still use, emphasising simplicity, lower costs, and faster timeframes rather than layered technology stacks.
