Zurich-domiciled global reinsurance company Swiss Re has appointed Anne Lohbeck as Chief Risk Officer for P&C Re, effective 1st May 2026.
Lohbeck will report to Bernhard Kaufmann, Group Chief Risk Officer, and join the Risk Management Executive Team as well as the P&C Re Executive Committee.
In this role, she will be responsible for all risk-management matters across P&C Re.
Lohbeck brings a broad range of experience across the company, having joined Swiss Re in 2010. She has developed business and underwriting expertise, strong market insight, and proven leadership skills.
In 2023, when P&C Re was established as a business unit, she was appointed Chief Underwriting Officer Specialty and Head of the Global Specialty Market Unit.
At Swiss Re, she has made a notable impact across P&C Re, including strengthening governance, repositioning portfolios, establishing underwriting consistency, and successfully growing markets such as Cyber.
Prior to Swiss Re, Lohbeck spent six years at BCG, where she served as a Project Leader.
